Key Takeaways
Expert insights for effortless, beautiful living.

Natural light impacts design choices.
Natural light shapes the way you design a room. In spaces with plenty of sunlight, using darker tones for cabinetry or furniture still allows the space to feel open, bright, and airy while maintaining contrast and depth.

A mix of storage options adds flexibility.
A mix of closed storage and open shelving adds versatility to a home’s design. Storage helps maintain serenity and order in the home. Thoughtfully designed, it keeps everyday items organized and accessible, ensuring your space remains beautiful and clutter-free, even in the busiest households.

Small spaces are a great place to take risks.
Bold colors and unique textures transform small spaces into impactful, intimate areas. Don’t be afraid to take risks with darker tones or dramatic materials—small spaces can handle it, creating contrast and sophistication.

Layering textures adds warmth and dimension.
Incorporating various textures, from rugs to cushions to upholstery, brings warmth and dimension to your space. Layering these elements adds visual interest and comfort, creating an inviting, tactile environment.

Every design choice should support how you live.
A well-designed home works with your lifestyle. From durable fabrics to functional mudrooms, every design choice should serve the way you live, making your home feel effortless to maintain without sacrificing beauty.
